BES Group’s CWS™ and Navis N4 Integration Project for Baltic Conainer Terminal
19 March, 2025

Mariner Technologies is pleased to announce the successful development and implementation of the integration project for the BES Group’s CWS™ weighing system and the Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS), completed in close collaboration with BES Group’s CWS™. This project marks a significant achievement in our ongoing mission to deliver advanced digital solutions to the logistics and port industries.
Project Overview
The integration was executed in full accordance with the project requirements and the client’s operational objectives. In partnership with BES Group’s CWS™, we have accomplished a seamless connection between the weighing system, port equipment, and core IT infrastructure—enabling real-time, automated container weighing and direct data flow into Navis N4 for Baltic Container Terminal.
Key Project Highlights
-
On-the-Fly Container Weighing During Loading:
In collaboration with BES Group’s CWS™, we have successfully implemented a system that enables automatic weighing of containers during loading operations using a reach stacker. This eliminates the need for separate weighing processes, optimizing workflow and saving significant time. -
Automatic Data Transfer to Navis N4:
The solution is designed to transmit weighing data instantly and automatically into the Navis N4 Terminal Operating System, ensuring that precise weight information is immediately available for all operational and compliance needs. -
Robust Technical Integration:
The project included connecting the BES Group’s CWS™ system to port equipment via a Mikrotik router, developing a dedicated data acquisition service for Navis N4, and performing extensive testing and commissioning to ensure stable, reliable operation.
Advancing Port Operations
With this integration, container weighing becomes an automated, integral part of the cargo handling process, improving efficiency, accuracy, and data transparency across port operations.
